Shimadzu Middle East & Africa proudly announces the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, marked by a grand opening ceremony on March 5, 2024. The event saw esteemed guests, including Mr. Yasunori Yamamoto, President and CEO of Shimadzu Corporation, Mr. Jun Imanishi, Consul General of Japan to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and Mr. Hamad Al Sayegh, Vice-President - Customer Care, DP World, besides partners, suppliers, and employees.
After short speeches and ribbon cutting by dignitaries, guests were given a tour of the new facility.
Since its establishment in 2007, Shimadzu Middle East & Africa has been serving customers in the region with cutting-edge analytical instruments and solutions for research, development and quality control across diverse fields and advanced imaging systems for use in medical diagnosis and treatment. The new customer and technology center emphasizes the company's unwavering commitment to expanding its footprint in the Middle East & Africa region. The facility aims to be a center of excellence focused on innovation, that will facilitate greater collaborations with researchers and advance scientific discoveries, and will position the company to provide better sales, service and application support to customers.
Spread over 64,000 sq. ft, the new regional hub boasts state-of-the-art laboratories for analytical instruments and testing machines, a medical training center, advanced R&D and integration areas for GC analyzers, training rooms, and order fulfillment and warehousing space.
