Shimadzu Middle East & Africa turns 15 this year!
15 years ago, Shimadzu Middle East & Africa FZE, a subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation was established in Dubai as the regional HQ. Since then, it’s been our privilege to share our passion for innovation with the scientific community in the Middle East & Africa region. Our mission is to not only deliver industry leading analytical and measuring instruments but also provide world-class customer support and holistic analytical solutions.
Driven by our corporate philosophy of ‘’Contributing to Society through Science and Technology’’, we have been working with analytical experts and researchers across the MEA region to find solutions to their analytical challenges, and with medical professionals to improve diagnosis, treatment and patient care. It’s been wonderful to play host to experts from various industries such as chemical/petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, environment, food safety and forensics at our demonstration lab facilities in Dubai and Istanbul. At these facilities, they collaborate with Shimadzu experts to develop applications and solutions, evaluate how Shimadzu products perform with their samples and applications and get comprehensive training and hands-on experience of Shimadzu instruments.
To address research & development, diagnostics and quality control needs across diverse fields, Shimadzu Middle East & Africa covers a broad-range of analytical instrumentation consisting of chromatography (HPLC, GC), mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS, MALDI-TOF MS), spectroscopy (UV/VIS, FTIR, AAS, ICP), environmental testing (TOC), materials testing equipment and Informatics solutions, and medical devices including Mobile X-Ray, Angiography, Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Surgical C-arm.
This decade and a half long journey has been nothing short of exhilarating and we truly hope we’ve been able to achieve what we set out to do - to provide unparalleled customer support. We remain ambitious and excited about the future and are committed to continue our journey of ‘’Excellence in Science’’.
