Shimadzu Middle East & Africa (SMEA) is proud to announce the opening of its state‑of‑the‑art new Medical Training Centre within the Shimadzu Experience Centre in Shimadzu Middle East & Africa Dubai. This strategic expansion reinforces Shimadzu’s commitment to advancing healthcare quality and strengthening technical expertise across the region.

The new Medical Training Centre has been established to support healthcare providers in delivering safer, more reliable, and more efficient patient care. Its core objectives include enhancing patient safety and diagnostic accuracy, reducing equipment downtime, extending the lifespan of medical devices, and building deeper regional technical capabilities. The centre will also provide structured certifications, accreditations, and specialized technical support - empowering partners to operate with greater independence.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to elevating healthcare standards, this facility strengthens the technical capabilities of our partners and enables them to better support our customers - hospitals and healthcare providers, by effectively training their Field Service Engineers,” said Mr. Koji Ishibashi, Managing Director of Shimadzu Middle East & Africa. “Our vision is to create a sustainable ecosystem of knowledge, skills, and excellence across the Middle East and Africa.”

A key focus of the Medical Training Centre is the continuous development of Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and application specialists. Through hands‑on, scenario‑based training, participants will enhance their technical knowledge, improve their troubleshooting abilities, and stay up to date with the latest advances in medical imaging technology.

The centre is equipped with several flagship Shimadzu systems, including the RadSpeed Pro SR5, Flexavision F4, and MobileDaRt Evolution MX9, with a C‑Arm system planned for future expansion.

The opening ceremony, held last month, welcomed valued customers and partners from across the region. Positioned within Dubai’s vibrant healthcare hub, the Shimadzu Experience Centre will serve not only the SMEA territory but also function as a regional training and application support hub for other Shimadzu subsidiaries.

This milestone underscores Shimadzu’s long‑standing dedication to supporting healthcare transformation and empowering professionals with the tools and knowledge needed to deliver superior patient care.
