Beware of scam emails from people who impersonate
employees of our company

Recently, there have been fraudulent attempts to rip off money from Shimadzu Group's partners by impersonating Shimadzu representatives and asking our partners to change the registered receiving bank account information for payment to Shimadzu.
Please be forewarned to prevent any damage due to such frauds.

* An example of e-mail address spoofing
True: abcde@shimadzu.co.jp
False: abcde@jp-shimadzu.com

Please take note:

1)   Any Shimadzu Group subsidiary does not ask for any change of a receiving bank account only via e-mail.

2)   If you receive any request to change the receiving bank account information via e-mail, please be sure to ascertain the truth by directly reaching our representative at our legitimate phone number.

Thank you for your due caution and kind cooperation.

With best regards,

Masakazu Sano
